    Chuny Herzka’s Emerald Group paid $161 million for a set of Boro Park nursing properties from Daryl Hagler’s Facilities Healthcare as a part of a $1.7 billion deal.

    Lakewood, New Jersey-based Emerald Group acquired three Brooklyn nursing house amenities from Facilities for $296 million this week, information present. The deal was financed by a $240 million mortgage administered by Huntington Financial institution.

    The properties include a 504-bed Boro Park Heart at 4915 tenth Avenue, the Brooklyn Heart for Rehabilitation and Nursing at 170 Buffalo Avenue and the Bushwick Heart for Renal Dialysis at 51 Georgia Avenue and 50 Sheffield Avenue. 

    The buildings had a speedy appreciation in worth since Hagler purchased them. Hagler bought the 354-bed Boro Park property for $19 million in 2011 and added an extra 150 beds to the property.

    Emerald additionally bought two properties within the Bronx this week from Hagler for $35.75 million at 1540 Tomlinson Avenue and 1010 Underhill Avenue, information present.

    PincusCo first reported the information in regards to the Brooklyn sale. Emerald Group, Facilities and Hagler didn’t return requests to remark. 

    The deal is a part of Emerald’s large $1.7 billion deal to amass Facilities Healthcare portfolio, the Promote beforehand reported. Facilities, which is owned by entrepreneurs Hagler and Kenneth Rozenberg, operates greater than 45 nursing properties with most situated in New York.
