The highest-floor penthouse at 100 Jay Road scored the priciest contract in Brooklyn final week.

The deal for the Thirty third-floor unit within the Dumbo undertaking was considered one of 21 — eight condos, one co-op and 12 single-family properties — signed for properties asking no less than $2 million from Aug. 10 to Aug. 16., in response to Compass’ weekly report on Brooklyn’s luxurious market. The entire contract quantity was $67 million.

The earlier week noticed 14 contracts signed for $45 million.

Properties coming into contract final week had a median asking value of $3 million, spent a median of 155 days available on the market and had a median value per sq. foot of $1,379.

The penthouse at 100 Jay Road requested $6 million.

Final bought as a sponsor unit for $3.1 million in 2007, the house is a “full flooring true penthouse,” in response to the StreetEasy itemizing. The 2-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom residence spans over 2,900 sq. ft with a 90-foot terrace and 4 exposures.

The house has soundproofed flooring and customized hardwood cabinetry. The terrace incorporates a full kitchen, Jacuzzi and outside bathe.

Archpoint Advisory’s Charlie Homet, John Brandon and John King Oppermann had the itemizing.

Developed by the Hudson Companies, the 267-unit 100 Jay, often known as the J Condo, was inbuilt 2006. Facilities embody a 24-hour attended foyer, on-site storage, health heart and yoga room and a media room.

The second priciest contract signed final week was for a Carroll Gardens townhouse at 274 Degraw that bought off-market. The house bought for $5.9 million, in response to a social media put up from Compass’ Randy Baruh, who had the itemizing.

The five-bedroom, four-bathroom residence final bought for $3.5 million in 2016. In 2016, the house was listed as a three-family property.
